What a great way to kick off the high season before the town gets flooded with tourism!
Day one was yin yoga on the beach. Creating a mandala with our mats sealed in the energy for the group practice. How joyful it was to see my students' radiate throughout the day and wear their live the rainbow tees.
day two will be a power flow...time to ignite our inner flames and let them burn with the outer incense. practicing non-attachment to our thoughts, reactions and others as the smoke moves past.
looking forward to creating more on the beach and growing my community.

moving river
Dear friends,
I have experienced nursing my sick daughter, the bugs, heat and lots of rains and floods the past few months. The river continues to flow.
Yoga is the only thing keeping me grounded and alive. Everything is moving like a flowing river. Things continue to come and go. Practicing non attachment is my mantra(:
Please join me Wednesdays at OM yoga in sayulita at 1030am in October for vinyasa flow. I am also teaching donation based spontaneous 815 am sat class on the beach. coco frios to look forward to after class!
keep practicing.....

try it on the street
ahhh yes, the street was my fitting room as i tried on this beautiful hand crocheted bikini right in public. this is my kinda town. funny how a minnesota butt can look so grande at the beach town. I needed 4 more rows added to hide my tooshy crack(:
We are here in sayulita and getting to know the streets, people and wildlife so we can share a space in peace. trying to not bombard the wildlife with my strong presence (and voice) but to keep it cool and positivo. Outdoor showers (actually all types of water), mangos, and the partnership between Gena, myself and Zozo is the light of my being during transition. Oh wait, YOGA TOO! Been practicing everyday on the beach and had a 6 yr old mexican girl joined me two days ago. It was a monkey see monkey doo game..... quickly realized the importance to learn the word for warrior in spanish!
love to all and come join me 7:30am donation based class on the beach Lunes, Martes, Jueves.
Also, I will begin doing thai massages in homes for 500 pesos.

Hola from Mexico
As I lay on the couch feeling the cool air from the ceiling fan and listening to the waves of the pacific ocean,I realize this world is a fantastic place. We have numerous people supporting us from pure strangers to family in the states. My whole body is vibrating(: My mind is still saying, am I totally nuts for packing my backpack and flying? Then I talk to a local expat who says this is the best decision of a lifetime and yoga is a great thing to do here in Mexico.I too am working on the monkey mind (mono in spanish).
We are looking to settle into a home in Sayulita in the next few weeks or so, a small fishing village/surftown 40 min. north of PV. I will begin teaching donation based classes on the beach. My favorite time for yoga is 7:30am. I love practicing in the sand and breathing with the rhythm of the crashing waves. The mornings are divine as the sun rises, air fresh and the birds, dogs and trucks are waking up the town.
Looking forward to practicing with ya'll soon here in Mexico. Please stay in touch and tell me what you are up to. NEW and LONGTIME friends(:
Breathe in you are a wave in the ocean breathe out you apart of the ocean!
